Who We Treat

We pride ourselves on being a family oriented practice. We treat patients ranging in age from newborns to patients in their 90’s. We have a wide range of treatment options assuring safe and gentle treatment for all age groups.

Low Back Pain

Neck Pain

Headaches | Migraines

Both are commonly caused by dysfunction in the alignment and function of the upper cervical spine. By restoring the cervical spine to its proper motion and position I have had many patients over my 18 years report significant improvement and or resolution of the headaches.

Arthritic Conditions

Osteoarthritis is not a disease it is simply mechanical wear and tear of the joint. It is not unlike the wear and tear you see in car tires that are not properly aligned. The key to preventing arthritic conditions from getting worse and controlling the pain associated with arthritis is to maximize correct motion of the joint. Chiropractic has been proven to be a very affective in and safe treatment for arthritic conditions. This is not limited to the spine. We regularly treat feet, knees, hips, hands, hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

Disc Conditions (Neck & Back)

Herniated and bulging discs can be very painful. Typically causing pain, numbness, or tingling into the arms and hands or the legs and feet. This pain is caused when the disc is pressing on a nerve root. Chiropractic adjustments can help relieve this nerve pressure and control the arthritic conditions that usually follow. In more difficult disc conditions, we also have a spinal decompression table that has been proven affective treatment for even more severe disc conditions.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a nerve condition that can cause chronic muscular and joint pain. People with this condition typically have difficulty sleeping and being active. This in turn causes more pain and sometimes disability. By decreasing pain and improving sleep this condition can be significantly improved. I have had many patients report resolution. This can be done through chiropractic, nutrition, and SLOWLY increasing the activity level like stretching. We can help you through all phases of this treatment.

Plantar Fasciitis

The plantar fascia is a thick piece of tissue that supports the normal arch of the foot. This is a very common condition we see. It is typically caused by abnormal foot mechanics that leads to the flattening of the arches of the feet. This stretches the plantar fascia causing pain in the bottom of the feet.. This is treated using chiropractic adjustments to restore normal mechanics of the feet, soft tissue stretching of the plantar fascia, and in some case we can make fully customized soft comfortable corrective orthotics.

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder conditions can be difficult to treat. It is a very complicated joint. I have the opportunity to treat this condition daily with great results. In order to achieve the desired result the rotator cuff must be properly evaluated. However, the collar bones, shoulder blades, the other supporting muscles, the bicep tendon, and in some cases the neck must also be addressed to ensure maximum therapeutic outcomes.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition where the median nerve becomes entrapped causing numbness or tingling in the hand. In some cases there is also pain. The median nerve comes out of the neck and travels to the hand. It is not uncommon to find the median nerve is being compressed somewhere other than the wrist. This can be the neck, shoulder, or elbow. All of these can be affectively treated a thorough exam is key in determining the most affective treatment.

Elbows | Wrists | Knees

Pain or arthritic conditions are not just in the spine. We regularly treat all of the extremities. Again, this is usually a functional and mechanical issue. There are very specific adjusting protocols for these extremities. I have had specific training in treating all of the extremities.

Bursitis

There is a fluid filled sac called a bursae located in some joints, most notably the shoulder elbow and hip. These bursae can be rubbed and irritated causing inflammation and pain. This is caused by joint not moving correctly. The key to alleviating this pain is to restore the normal motion in the joint.

Pain Associated with Pregnancy

Chiropractic is a safe alternative to medication when treating pregnant women. Low back pain and sciatica are common in pregnancy. Chiropractic has been proven to be affective in managing these painful conditions during pregnancy.

Sciatica

Sciatica is pressure or irritation of the sciatic nerve. Thos can be caused by a disc problem a narrowing of the hole where the nerve exits the spine. It is also commonly caused by abnormal joint alignment of the joints in the low back.  Thorough examination is key in determining  the cause. Treatment can include chiropractic adjustments, home exercises or spinal decompression. The vast majority of these patients I have treated over the years have reported very good results.

Scoliosis

Scoliosis can be a difficult condition. Early detection is key. We can show you what to look for as your children grow to help with early detection as well as make treatment recommendations if it is detected. If you are an adult that has been previously diagnosed with scoliosis we can give treatment options for managing pain and controlling progressive degenerative changes tat often occur with this condition as you age.
